Pair of Jichou Ware Foliate-form Dishes

Yuan Dynasty AD 1279 – 1368

Pair of buff stoneware dishes; each with a foliate design on the top of a shallow foot. Both are decorated with a dark amber glaze.

Height - 4 cm, Diameter - 10cm

 

 

Tsatsa

Song Dynasty AD 960 - 1279

A grey pottery oval-form plaque with three stupas. The central, larger one is flanked by two smaller stupas.   Above the central stupa is what appears to be a fish.

Height - 6.5 cm
