A red pottery vessel of squashed ovate form with a wide everted mouth, the piece has two ring-form handles on opposing sides. It is decorated with two bands of geometric patterns.

Qijia Culture C. 2050 - 1700 BCE
This beautiful vase has an ovate body tapering to a narrow mouth with an everted lip. A handle joins from the shoulder of the body to the underside of the lip. The piece has a good patina with a pleasing blush on one side of the body. Some repairs to the body.
